One Piece Chapter 1065 Manga Release dates

One Piece Chapter 1065 and information will be officially released on November 4th, 2022. You can read the manga chapters online for free from Shonen Jump, Viz Media and Manga Plus apps and websites. This 1065 chapter is shocking, stunning, big news, morgan style! What if Law used his fruit to modify his crew members, shachi and penguin specifically? Using his room and surgeon skills to replace their lungs with a Fishman's/animal lungs or something of that nature. Also it was nice seeing bepo contribute using his natural mink features(ears).

Hopefully he learned to use electro on Zou, if he didn't already have that. Sulong form too. Surprised no one has yet to bring this up but where the hell is Sentomaru?! He was one of our first introduced haki users and he is supposed to be Vegapunk's bodyguard. I think Oda is asking us to consider how Akainu got this info. We don’t see a marine ship anywhere around Law or Blackbeard. Meaning there is POSSIBLY a marine undercover in the area. I’m thinking it’s kuzan who keeps updating the marines. Blackbeard is one of those guys that improvise on the spot, he knows more or less what he needs to do, but doesn't care about the planning or the details, exactly like Luffy. Have we forgotten how he went to Impel Down and just mere seconds in he was going to get defeated by Magellan? He definitely is that kind of guy. I'm guessing Blackbeard didn't have much of a plan because he wasn't 100% sure which crew he was going to be fighting. He had a 1 in 3 chance, and when he saw Law's crew, he probably had a version of a plan for Luffy and Kid, but didn't much care about Law's crew because everyone underestimates them. Law is the big name in the papers, after all, not Penguin or Bepo. One thing I loved was seeing Bonny use a beam sword. We're definitely on a futuristic island. Auger’s Warp fruit makes me so excited for his future fight against Usopp. Usopp wont be able to run and will have to do some insane observation haki sniping to beat his warping. Bonus points if he unlocks future sight in order to see where he’ll warp too. If Franky is able to upgrade the General Franky into a giant robot the size of Vegapunk’s which dwarfs the Sunny. He might get to to fight the “Colossal Battleship” giant on Blackbeard’s crew. It’s kinda nice that Pudding isn’t hiding her third eye behind her bangs now after her encounter with Sanji. Law fruit and doctor knowledge might let him discover the secret of Blackbeard’s body during their fight. Kuma and Blackbeard share some similar features. Maybe they both are a part of whatever this new race is? If Law, Coby and Blackbeard are all together we might get to find out a bit more about the “Rocky Port incident” since they all had some level of involvement in it. Seeing how Blackbeard has got his crew moving seperately to achieve goals for him kinda makes me hope he’s sent Shiryuu to infiltrate Impel Down. Give the invisible man a stealth mission in a location he’s familiar with. Probably to take Magellan’s poison fruit, but also to free Doflamingo. It’d be hard to fit him in the story again but I just kinda want Doflamingo back in some way. He was under Kaidou before. I could maybe kinda see him allying with Blackbeard now. Since Vegapunk has ties to Dragon now maybe Dragon will be able to pull a Palpatine/Order 66 and turn all the Pacafista/Seraphim against the government at some point.

Lacus Clyne

A popular female vocalist, she became the co-leader of the Clyne Faction and leader of the Three Ships Alliance during the First Alliance-PLANT War.

Personality and Character

At first glance, Lacus appears to be naive and a bit of an airhead, but it is only due to her idealistic and pacifistic nature. Beneath the surface as a pop star and a PLANT idol, she is actually a very deep and philosophical person, as she demonstrates when she delivers speeches throughout the series - mainly about the widening rift between Naturals and Coordinators, the ironies of calling for peace yet doing so with weapons in hand, and the real causes of war as being within the human heart itself. As the leader of the Clyne Faction (and later the Three Ships Alliance and Terminal), Lacus is very charismatic, strong-willed, and determined to see their fight for peace through to the end. Like her father, Siegel Clyne, Lacus wishes to see a world where Naturals and Coordinators would willingly work together and coexist in harmony, disregarding the notion that Coordinators are an evolved species. Being a pacifist, Lacus holds a strong dislike for war, expressing that they are simply started and repeated through a neverending cycle of attack and retaliation.

Skills and Abilities

Because Lacus is a coordinator, her mind and body are enhanced above a normal human's abilities; the full aspects of her abilities are undefined. Lacus' most outstanding talents lie in singing and dancing, as she developed into an influential cultural pop icon in PLANT. She is shown to have a good sense of delegation and command for those that work under her. Lacus Clyne has the ability to enter SEED mode as well. When in SEED mode, her delegation and coordination abilities are enhanced for commanding the Eternal; her full abilities are unknown.

History

First Alliance-PLANT War

Lacus Clyne was born the daughter of PLANT Supreme Council Chairman Siegel Clyne. She developed a career as an idol singer which brought her enormous popularity in the PLANTs. She was engaged to Athrun Zala for political reasons. Upon their engagement, Athrun went to their home to hand her a bouquet of roses much to her delight. When the First Alliance-PLANT War started, things changed between them as they are both preoccupied with their agendas during the war they rarely got the chance to meet or speak with one another. Despite that, Lacus always anticipated the day she and Athrun will meet again.

Meeting Kira Yamato

When she was dispatched on the civilian space vessel Silverwind to the ruins of Junius Seven for an upcoming memorial service, her vessel was attacked by an Earth Alliance Nelson-class battleship, which was given information by Kenav Luchini to believe that the vessel was actually a military ship. A fight broke out aboard the ship, but not before a life pod carrying Lacus was jettisoned, and departed safely away due to the efforts of Junk Guild tech Lowe Guele in his MBF-P02 Astray Red Frame. Her life pod was subsequently rescued by the Kira Yamato and brought aboard the Archangel.

Even though they are technically enemies, Lacus was kind and respectful towards everybody on board the Archangel, and most of them treated her the same way. (Sai Argyle did question whether the reason she has such a lovely singing voice was due to her genetic alterations.) However, Flay Allster refused to shake hands and scorns her kindness because she was a Coordinator. During her time on the Archangel, Lacus spent a lot of time with Kira and the two started to bond as they saw how kind the other was.

Later, when Flay's father's escort was attacked by ZAFT forces, Flay dragged Lacus to the bridge and said that she would kill Lacus if ZAFT didn't cease their attack at once. Before anyone could react her father dies when his ship, the Montgomery, exploded. Lacus showed compassion towards Flay after her father's death, despite having been threatened by her. As the ZAFT forces continue their assault, Natarle Badgiruel informed them that the Archangel had Lacus on board, thus prompting them to withdraw. When Kira nearly had an emotional breakdown on one of the observation decks due to Flay's abusive words, Lacus comforted him and learned that he shared a friendship with Athrun.

Kira later smuggled Lacus off the Archangel and returned her to Athrun, who once again beseeched him to join ZAFT. As before, Kira turned him down because he wanted to protect his friends on board the Archangel. This saddens Lacus, as she knew that Kira and Athrun are both good people that were forced to fight one another because of this war. As Athrun returned to the Vesalius with Lacus, Rau Le Creuset launched in his ZGMF-515 CGUE to begin an assault on the Archangel. Lacus quickly picked up the intercom and ordered him to stop his aggression at once, due to her being a memorial representative of Junius Seven.

Lacus momentarily stayed on the Vesalius while waiting for the ship to fetch her and return her to PLANTs. She kept on going out of her room and was told to stay there since it was a warship. Athrun then comes over to visit her. She saw Athrun stare at her worriedly and ask him what the matter was. Athrun asks her how she was feeling after being taken as a hostage. Lacus replied that Kira treated her very well, which makes Athrun angry. As he blurted out his disgust about Kira choosing to side with the Earth forces, Lacus tried to comfort him by reaching her hand to his cheek, but Athrun avoided the gesture. He then apologized and bid farewell. Before he left, Lacus pointed out the bitter expression he always had. Athrun replied that he can't exactly fight a war with a big smile on his face and shut the door leaving Lacus stunned.

The next day, Athrun escorted Lacus to the ship. Lacus was disappointed that their meeting was short. Athrun replied that everyone was worried at PLANTs. Before Lacus boarded the ship she told Athrun that she was looking forward to the day they'll meet again.

When Athrun visited Lacus at her home in PLANTs, they discussed Kira and Lacus mentions that she was quite "fond" of Kira, much to Athrun's surprise. The two then spent time walking around the garden talking. Athrun however, was unable to stay for dinner much to Lacus' disappointment since her father was going home and wanted to see him. Athrun reassured her by saying he'll come to visit her again making Lacus' face light up with anticipation and told him she'll look forward to that day. Athrun then leaned forward Lacus (she was surprised at first until she understood the gesture) with her eyes closed. Athrun then kissed her on the lips (on the cheek in the remastered version) and bid her goodbye. As Athrun left, Lacus told Mr. Pink that Athrun was really a busy person.

Second meeting with Kira

Later in the war, a wounded Kira was brought to Lacus' home by Clyne family friend Reverend Malchio. Lacus nursed Kira back to health with the help of her father and Malchio. Kira and Lacus became even closer during his stay. When Kira was unsure if it was alright for him to be there with them, Lacus assured him that he could stay at her home as long as he wanted. However, when Siegel Clyne received word of Patrick Zala's deception - that the target for Operation Spitbreak was the Earth Alliance headquarters JOSH-A in Alaska, instead of the intended Panama Base - Kira wanted to return to Earth to save his friends aboard the Archangel. In response, Lacus provided Kira with a ZAFT Red uniform and helped him steal the ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam. Before he left, Lacus granted Kira "her strength" by means of a kiss on his cheek, showing him that he has her support and affection.

Because of her helping Kira, Lacus and her father Siegel were declared traitors. As part of the "Clyne Faction", they tried to inform the people about the genocidal ambitions of Patrick Zala, and Siegel was gunned down by ZAFT soldiers under Patrick Zala's command. While in hiding, Lacus met with Athrun and explained why she helped Kira and that if Athrun kept blindly following the path he was on, she and Kira would ultimately become his enemies. Just then, soldiers of the PLANT radical faction tried to assassinate her, but she and Athrun were saved by members of the Clyne Faction, notably Martin DaCosta.

Athrun Zala

Originally a close friend of Kira Yamato, he later became Kira's rival during the First Alliance-PLANT War, where he participated in the Gundam extortion plan at Heliopolis. He became the pilot of the GAT-X303 Aegis Gundam and waged a fierce fight against Kira. In the later stages of the war, they would return to being friends, as well as being comrades opposed to both the Earth Alliance and ZAFT.

Personality and Character

As seen and even mentioned by Lacus Clyne herself, Athrun is described as a quiet, reserved, and often a benevolent individual. Athrun is shown to have a firm belief that if soldiers follow their orders then eventually the war will end with success. While good at following orders, Athrun has trouble acting as a team leader due to his compassionate outlook in life. In Destiny, Athrun's personality and ideals does not change much, but he does mature in some respects, especially when he rejoins ZAFT at the personal behest of Gilbert Durandal to command and become part of the ZAFT forces as a field commander aboard the Minerva. Due to his status as a hero to the PLANT colonies and ZAFT ace pilot, he somehow instinctively portrays a very professional aura and doesn't hesitate when giving orders that can come off as being harsh or demanding. Despite the former's particular distaste of being ordered around, Athrun still manages to act as a mentor to his young subordinates, such as Shinn Asuka and Lunamaria Hawke.

However, Athrun does have two major flaws, both of which often plague him in both SEED and Destiny. His perseverance to find himself and discern the truth of the moment amidst the chaos in both wars waged in both SEED and Destiny eventually eclipses that flaw. His second flaw is a by-product of his first flaw as his indecisiveness comes off as being labeled as a traitor to either side of the war, much to his frustration and denial. After his defection to Terminal, Athrun seems to regain a sense of what he is fighting for, but it is not clearly portrayed if he has resolved this personal issue.

Skills and Abilities

Before becoming a full-fledged pilot, Athrun had underwent training at the ZAFT military academy. It was there that he showed natural talent as a soldier, ranking 1st in mobile suit piloting, hand-to-hand combat, and knife-fighting, even going as far as to beat the renowned knife-fighting instructor "Fred of the Knife". With his natural experience as a pilot and high scores at the academy, it's very surprising that Kira Yamato was able to match him with skill

alone. His fighting style is not visibly limited in style, his mobile suits, GAT-X303 Aegis Gundam, the ZGMF-X09A Justice Gundam and later the ZGMF-X19A ∞ Justice Gundam, are all well-rounded mobile suits that are always equiped with sufficient firepower and a minimum of two beam sabers. Although his style is typically well-rounded, he can also pilot mobile suits with more basic ability, and therefore less strategic uses, such as the ZGMF-1000/M Blaze ZAKU Warrior.

Athrun is also pretty skilled in robotics, as evidenced by his creation of Kira's Birdy and Lacus's Haros.

Athrun's resolve in battle is often profound. He debates "truth", "war" and even the real difference between "right" and "wrong" on the battlefield. These thoughts never cloud his mind in the sense that they hinder his abilities. However, his anger or desire for revenge often make him act in a way that he later regrets. His only weakness as a pilot is his good nature, which leaves him troubled when faced with having to kill Kira, his best friend. Ultimately, his "perfect solider" mentality and his father's expectations blind him to what he truly wants.

History

Athrun was born in December City of the PLANTs on October 29, CE 55. In C.E. 61, Patrick Zala sent Athrun to attend a preparatory school at the lunar city of Copernicus with his mother. There, he met Kira Yamato and the two become close friends. In C.E. 68, Patrick called Athrun back from Copernicus City. Just before he left, Athrun built a robotic pet bird, Birdy (Torii (which means bird) in the Japanese version), and gave it to Kira as a parting gift.

After returning to the PLANTs, Athrun found that his father had arranged an engagement for him to PLANT pop idol Lacus Clyne. Athrun built her Mr. Pink, a pink ball-shaped robotic pet-companion , which she liked very much. In response, he built her a large number of them, which she named based on their colors.

On February 21, C.E. 70, Athrun enrolled in the ZAFT military following his mother's death seven days earlier during the Bloody Valentine tragedy, which was caused by the Earth Alliance. Among the Le Creuset Team members led by Rau Le Creuset, he became friends with Nicol Amalfi and Rusty Mackenzie, and he was the only member whose views on Naturals differ from his parent's. During his time at the ZAFT Military Academy, Athrun was first in almost all of his classes and was the top graduate, just above Yzak Joule. This may account for some of Yzak's hostilities toward Athrun.

Char Aznable

He was introduced as one of the antagonists of Mobile Suit Gundam and later becomes one of the protagonists of Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam before finally returning as the main antagonist of Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack.

Throughout his life, he was also known by the aliases ร‰douard Mass and Quattro Bajeena. In addition, he is given the nom de guerre of "The Red Comet", for his performance at the Battle of Loum during the One Year War.

Personality and Character

He is a charismatic young man who is highly respected, and his subordinates, both younger and older, follow him faithfully. On the other hand, he also has a cold-hearted side that is willing to kill even his friends in order to achieve his goals. Despite his outstanding abilities as a leader and a soldier, he is mentally fragile. As the son of Zeon Zum Deikun, a great saint who was revered by the world, he is a complex character who is burdened with the pain of being expected to succeed his father, and the lonely anguish of not being able to receive sufficient affection as a boy because of the political struggle that the Zabi family had waged against him since he was a child.

Skills and Abilities

He is as an extremely competent soldier, and his days at the Zeon Space Defense Military Academy helped him hone his combat skills as a foot soldier, such as using firearms, detonating explosives, and fencing. His bold leadership which he is well known for also developed at the military academy. As a mobile suit pilot, he is also excellent and highly skilled, and in MS battles, he is good at high-speed maneuvering. Albeit being an excellent pilot, Char's abilities are far less than those of Lalah Sune and Amuro Ray, and only developed as a result of long-term training. Char is also a cunning strategist and tactician, managing to outsmart many of his enemies, even when he is not piloting a mobile suit. Char, like his father, seems to be a natural-born orator, as his passionate speech denouncing the Titans in Dakar pulled the Earth Federation's support towards the AEUG.

History

Born on November 17, U.C. 0059, as Casval Rem Deikun, son of Tor Deikun and Zeon Zum Deikun, founder of the Republic of Zeon. Sayla Mass (real name: Artesia Som Deikun) is his biological sister. After the death of Zeon Zum Deikun in 0069, he fled to Earth due to persecution by the Zabi family. At this time, under the patronage of Jimba Ral, who was a good friend of his father Zeon, he was adopted by the Mass family in southern Europe and took the name "ร‰douard Mass." ‎Although his father Zeon is shown to have died of illness on record, he sees it as an assassination by Degwin Sodo Zabi and others (Jimba Ral) believe that his father's attempt to name ‎‎Degwin‎‎ as an assassin was disguised as naming his successor and he vows revenge on the Zabi family.‎

Side 3 Infiltration Period

Admission to Zeon Military Academy

In the year 0074, he infiltrated under the name "Char Aznable" and entered Zeon Military Academy. During his time at the academy, he met and befriended Garma Zabi. He received excellent grades and was on track to graduate at the top of his class, but he disobeyed his superiors during an exercise just before graduation and lost his evaluation, giving Garma the top spot and graduating second in his class. In 0078, upon graduation, he enlisted in the Teaching Mobile Battalion under Kycilia Zabi.

Joining the Space Assault Force

Later, when the Zeon Defense Forces was divided into two units, the Space Assault Force under the banner of Dozle Zabi and the Assault Mobile Force under the banner of Kycilia Zabi, he joined the Space Assault Force. In the Principality of Zeon, he always wears a mask to hide his true identity. He explains that he has burn scars on his face and does not want to expose them to the public.

One Year War

The Red Comet

In January, U.C. 0079, the "One Year War" with the Earth Federation Government broke out. He is active as the commander of the 4th Platoon of the 6th Mobile Battalion of the Space Strike Force. He painted his beloved Zaku II (Type C or Type S) red, his personal color, and single-handedly sank five battleships during the Battle of Loum, earning him the nickname "Red Comet," and his name became known and feared by even the most junior members of the Federation Forces.

In September of the same year, on his way back from a mission to clear out guerrilla forces of the Federation Forces, he discovers a new type of ship (the White Base). By tracking it, he obtains information that the Federation Forces are secretly developing mobile suits in Side 7 (Operation V is underway). When his subordinates sent out on a reconnaissance mission are destroyed by the RX-78-2 Gundam, including their Zaku (the first ever battle between armed mobile suits), he sneaks into the colony himself and is reunited with his sister, Artesia (Sayla), who had evacuated to the White Base to serve in the army, and then has his first confrontation with his lifelong rival, Amuro Ray.[1] Although Char overwhelms Amuro, who is unfamiliar with combat, from start to finish, he is unable to overcome the Gundam's strong armor that can bounce back the fire of a 120mm machine gun and its beam rifle.

Later, he is ordered to capture or destroy the White Base and the Gundam, and pursues the White Base as it escapes from Side 7. He launches numerous attacks, including infiltrating the Federation Forces' space fortress Luna II, where the White Base has escaped, and sabotaging it, but he fails. He loses many of his men and Zaku units. However, during a surprise attack aimed at the White Base's entry into the atmosphere, he succeeds in bringing it down under Zeon controlled territory despite the destruction of his squad mates.

Miorine Rembran

She is an attractive and academically distinguished second-year student in the management strategy department at the Asticassia School of Technology, and the only daughter of Delling Rembran, the president of the Benerit Group and chairman of the school's board.

Personality and Character

Miorine has shown an interest in gardening in her spare time, with an apparent focus on tomatoes.

History

A.S. 122

Prior to the beginning of the series, she was forced to become engaged to Guel Jeturk due to the rules her father set up for the academy which dictated that the highest ranking duelist would be her fiancรฉ. In an attempt to escape the school colony, Miorine was waiting for her pick up in space outside until she was “rescue” by Suletta in Aerial. In anger, she head butted Suletta for interfering with her escape and told her that the responsibility falls upon her.

After the event of Guel’s duel, Miorine arrived in front of a greenhouse which she own. At that time, Suletta appeared behind her to say thanks for saving her.

As Miorine gathers seeds, she notice Suletta is still at the front entrance to her greenhouse which she replied to her not to enter. At that time, she could help but notice that Suletta’s growl from her stomach. She offer a tomato to her to eat. While talking, Miorine mentioned that the tomato she grew was from her mother indicating that her mother grew those special tomatoes. The two connected and Miorine offers to give Suletta a map to help guide to her dorm. Unfortunately Guel and his group came to Miorine arriving at her greenhouse. Guel offered his idea to Miorine to have her stay at his Jertek house so that she cannot escape and getting ideas going to Earth. But when Miorine disrespect Guel inside the greenhouse

Miorine stole Aerial to duel Guel on her own terms but unable to pilot the mobile suit very well. After being pushed back and forcefully pushed off an edge of a hill Suletta came to the rescue by reclaiming Aerial and fighting the duel for Miorine. Both Suletta and Miorine argue inside the cockpit of Aerial and they are unaware that the communication system activated allowing other students to hear them.

Setsuna F. Seiei

He is a Gundam Meister of the paramilitary organization Celestial Being and is humanity's first True Innovator. In season 1, he pilots GN-001 Gundam Exia and he pilots GN-0000 00 Gundam and co-pilots its upgrade, the GN-0000+GNR-010 00 Raiser with Saji Crossroad in season 2. He pilots the GNT-0000 00 Qan[T] in Mobile Suit Gundam 00 The Movie -A wakening of the Trailblazer-.

Personality and Character

Having grown up as a child soldier, brainwashed to murder his own parents, and later cast away when he was no longer deemed useful, Setsuna became taciturn, introverted, and wholeheartedly against war at a very young age. He believes deeply that there are key disturbances that prevent the world from coming together in peace and harmony, to the point of developing a habit of labelling specific people and/or forces as sources of conflict towards the world's path to peace. He has little tolerance for diplomats and politicians, believing that their negotiations only prolong wars and cause more strife. He has got a vendetta to settle and his past battle experiences stir up old bitter feelings, increasing his combat potential as a beneficial side effect. Though a self-proclaimed atheist, he often questions the motivations of God with people and worldly events.

Having been saved by a Gundam when he was about to be killed as a child, he came to view the Gundams as the manifestation of the idea of salvation itself. He idolizes the Gundams so much that he wants to embody the Gundam himself, a means to eradicate all conflict. Ever since being saved and recruited into Celestial Being, he has devoted his being to realizing the organization's ideals and would not hesitate to fulfill them. However, Setsuna notes the irony of him being someone who is good at nothing but dishing out violence, despite his earnest yearning for peace nonetheless.

Setsuna is notable for his relationship with Princess Marina Ismail; one of mutual admiration and intrigue, with him finding her total devotion to peace through peaceful means and ability to easily bond with others to be admirable, while she finds his ability to make hard choices and execute them firmly to be strong. As a result, both lingered in each other's thoughts often and like to know each other better. Their interaction however, is easily confused by others around them to be romantic. In a letter to the princess, Setsuna revealed more of his feelings and thinking. Setsuna wanted to understand the lesser aspects of humanity. He wanted to know why the world is filled with people with innate dark intentions and inconsiderate of other people's suffering. He wanted to know why did people keep fighting to live in such a violent world. He wanted to find these answers along with his Gundam in hopes to bring mutual understanding and peace.

After a 4 year hiatus, Setsuna has taken an unofficial role as the leader of the Gundam Meisters. He is now able to assert and express his feelings to people without reservation. Setsuna's ideals are still the same, but his recent experiences have led him to believe in the importance of self-change and the need to fight for a better and brighter future, rather than merely go about eradicating sources of conflicts. His determination and strong self-confidence motivates and inspires people around him. He becomes more understanding and compromising, but he is also capable of making hard-but-necessary decisions that would lead people to dislike him. He has no problems making life-defining decisions for other people when they can't make the choice and would kill if necessary.

After Setsuna became an Innovator, he once again became withdrawn and closed his heart to people once again. The crew members had trouble dealing with his change in attitude, but they did their best to adjust to him because they believe he'll eventually turn around. Sumeragi reasoned it was probably because he had become different from the others among the crew and was confused with his Innovator abilities, which later proved to be true. After the ELS Conflict, Setsuna had since become a friendlier and warmer person in his eternal mission to promote mutual understanding.

Skills and Abilities

Setsuna is skilled in many ways of war and fighting. Trained by Ali al-Saachez at a young age, Setsuna already knew how to work with a wide range of firearms, close-quarter-combat, use of explosives, infiltration, and other areas of guerrilla warfare by the age of 10. As CB's Gundam Meister, he uses his former combat training in his KPSA days to reflect Exia's combat style. He's been trained by CB to know some MS technical skills to maintain and repair his Gundam.

His 4 year hiatus (AD 2312 - Season 2) with Celestial Being didn't dull his MS piloting skills at all. Due to the power of 00 Gundam's concentrated GN particles with Trans-Am Raiser, Setsuna's brain has been gradually enhanced to utilize quantum brainwaves. He's able to sense quantum brainwaves (QBWs) near him and track users of QBWs. Eventually, he naturally evolves into humanity's first true/genuine Innovator.

Setsuna's Innovator capabilities aren't completely defined as he's the first naturally evolved Innovator. It has yet to be revealed if he can communicate with Veda or Celestial Being technology like the Innovades can. He can anticipate movements and actions of his opponents and sense impending danger from far distances. As an Innovator, he has heightened reflexes, a longer lifespan than normal humans, and can communicate his thoughts via quantum brainwaves.

After Setsuna joined the ELS, his body is not entirely human. The ELS reformed his body based on their bio-technology, forever retaining his youthful appearance with a metallic shine. It can be inferred that Setsuna became a hybrid of an Innovator and an ELS.

Hathaway Noa

Hathaway Noa is a character from the Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack - Beltorchika's Children novel and the protagonist of the sequel Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash.

Personality and Character

He saw the Alpha Aziel approaching towards Beltorchika's damaged Re-GZ. Without a choice, he sniped the MA and hit the cockpit directly, killing Quess on the spot.

After the war, Hathaway majored in botany and thus gained a special privilege as a researcher that he can travel between space and Earth freely. He, however, seeing the corruption that is going on and how the Federation officials are more than greedy and selfish, attempting to use the Earth as their own paradise, decided to join the terrorist group supported by the mysterious Quack Salver (though not clarified, but he's most likely a high rank official), Mafty. He adopts a new name, Mafty Navue Erin and became the leader. Hathaway has a friend-foe relationship with Kenneth Sleg, who first met him on the hijacked shuttle. Their rivalry was ironically too friendly to be considered as archrivalry, as except on battlefield, these two treated each as best friends, and they felt honored to have such intelligent/skilled friends. Even before Hathaway was executed, Kenneth said to him that they always were and will be friends.

History

Mafty Uprising
Hathaway majored in botany after the Second Neo Zeon war. The war, however, did not simply end for him. He felt extremely guilty for killing his first love Quess Paraya, and yet he was treated as a Federation Hero and was praised for his actions, as no one can possibly imagine a teenager was able to shoot down a massive Newtype MA. The Federation was getting more and more corrupt every year and they sent out hunters to simply deport illegal space immigrants to some mining colonies for harsh labor, and sometimes even normal citizens. The Earth gets less and less populated as more and more people were forced to move to space. Realizing the corruption within the Federation government, Hathaway joined Mafty with a clear statement that their goal is to eliminate the corrupt officials.

Being a botanical researcher, Hathaway gained the special privilege of traveling freely between Earth and space. He used this privilege to help further the activities of Mafty. During his time in space, he visited the Anaheim Electronics factory and tested the new prototype, RX-105 ฮž Gundam. The novel starts with Hathaway traveling back to Earth on the luxury shuttle Haunzen, full of high ranking Federation officials (possibly because of his father). His goal was to continue his plan to assassinate corrupt Federation officials along with how to receive the Xi Gundam after AE sends it down. On the shuttle he would meet two important people in his life, mistress of a wealthy merchant, Gigi Andalucia and Colonel Kenneth Sleg. After entering the atmosphere, the shuttle, however, was taken over by three hijackers, claiming that they are Mafty (even though they are really just supporters and more ironically, Mafty Navue Erin - Hathaway Noa himself was held as hostage by these three). Gigi soon shouted that the Mafty Navue Erin is fake, and for a moment with the hijackers' attention away, Hathaway took all three of them out, saving everyone including Kenneth. The officials thanked Hathaway afterwards, and Hathaway and Gigi were to be settled at a luxurious hotel.

The terrorist attack, however, put a wrench to Hathaway's intended meeting with his subordinates in Mafty as he was now forced to stay at Davao base instead of heading to Hong Kong as planned. As a result, Civet Anghern, Gawman Nobil, and Raymond Cain used their Messer to attack the outskirts of Hathaway's hotel to give him an opportunity to slip away from the military. Ultimately, Hathaway remained in the hotel with Gigi as the strike force was intercepted by Lane Aime's RX-104FF Penelope Gundam, who quickly captured Gawman who would be placed under brutal and intensive interrogation.

While Hathaway criticized Sleg for his harsh methods, Sleg warned Hathaway not to get embroiled in military affairs as a civilian, and that allowing Mafty to grow would make them a legitimate threat to the government in spite of his understanding of the sentiments regarding the decaying Federation. Hathaway would also learn that the Kimberly unit was stationed nearby to monitor Gawman as he Gigi was left with Kenneth, who mistakenly believed her to be a contact of Mafty.

Using the cover of night, Hathaway slipped out on his own and regrouped with his fellow members. Having been able to gauge the strength of the Penelope as well as the brashness of its pilot, Hathaway moved out to seize a special cargo from Anaheim Electronics. After taking it, however, the Kimberly unit, now renamed as Circe Unit, arrived to intercept Mafty, but Hathaway entered the cockpit of the RX-105 ฮž Gundam and issued a warning to the Federation forces not to engage him or face death. Once the initial task force was dealt with, Hathaway would engage Lane for the first time.

Upon learning that Gawman was held as a hostage by Lane should the battle not go their way, Hathaway successfully played into Lane's pride and sense of honor, claiming that he was little more than a coward by hiding behind a hostage. As he expected, Lane felt greatly slighted by these remarks and promptly released Gawman back to Hathaway before resuming their battle. Hathaway would eventually prevail, crashing the Penelope on the sea before making his getaway with Gawman in tow.

A few nights later, Hathaway would be contacted by the Oenbery group of Mafti asking for them to join together. In spite of the group's overly violent methods, Hathaway consents due to their organization's lack of manpower. Hathaway would soon meet Oenbery's leader, Fabio Rivera, who claimed to have outshined Mafty thanks to his anti-Federation beliefs. Nonetheless, Hathaway reveals a cabinet meeting at Adelaide and asks for Rivera's help in causing a disruption, which Fabio agrees to should he be lent a Galcezon. Once the exchange is given, Hathaway's forces begin moving towards Adelaide through Ayer's Rock for its radio towers. While successful, he is startled to have Gigi charge at him with an aircraft due to her desire to see him.

Despite this, he continues with his plan and makes a formal declaration of war against the Federation. He would cite that Earth had already suffered extensively thanks to human overpopulation, and the Federation's recent actions against the planet's sustainability were the prime reasons for this rebellion. He would also boldly warn any official within Austrlia that they were free to flee to Adelaide as a safe zone, but that they would also be fair game for the organization should they leave that safety net.

That night, Gigi would overhear Hathaway sleep-talking about Quess, and Hathaway would reveal that, as he did not show any sign of being a newtype, his only chance for saving the world was to hide behind the mask of Mafty. Soon, Civet would report that the Federation had ignored Mafty's declaration and would continue their cabinet meeting as planned. Seeing little choice, Hathaway ordered a full assault on Adelaide itself.

Hathaway would encounter Lane again, who was spearheading Adelaide's defense against Mafty. Despite Lane's efforts, Hathaway would prevail once more and destroy the cabinet meeting hall. Gawman would be quick to report that some members had fled beforehand, forcing Mafty to pursue them to Adelaide airport.

Mafty would once again be stopped by Lane's forces, who were unable to stop the ฮž Gundam. Though Hathaway would defeat Lane for the final time, this was all part of Sleg's plan, and the ฮž was immediately disabled by the Federation's beam barrier traps. The unconscious Hathaway was taken into custody, whereupon he was sentenced to death without trial by the vengeful Federation's cabinet members. Before meeting his fate, Hathaway lamented of his meeting with Newtypes and his own inability to accept his own limits and weaknesses.

The cabinet members, however, were not content with simply killing Hathaway, but attempted to deliver more "poetic justice" by having the firing squad led by Hathaway's father. In spite of Sleg's attempts to keep the fact that Hathaway was Mafty from Bright, the cabinet members publicly released Hathaway's true identity after the execution as an attempt to further destroy his standing. Ironically, this backfired as Hathaway had now been martyred by their petty attempts at retribution, and was immortalized as growing dissent towards the Federation continued.

Prospera Mercury

Formerly a Vanadis Institute test pilot named Elnora Samaya, she was forced into hiding after the institute was attacked and is currently the CEO of the Shin Sei Development Corporation.

Personality and Character

She was the loving mother of the Samaya family. The attack on Fรณlkvangr left her with a deep hatred for Delling Rembran, the president of the Benerit Group, who was responsible for ordering the attack as well as the "witch hunt" for all the Gundams. So great is this hatred that she is willing to use her own daughter to get close to Delling through the man's sole daughter, Miorine Rembran, under the ruse of letting her enjoy her life at school.

History

She lost her right arm when she was younger and was saved by her teacher, Dr. Cardo Nabo. She had it replaced with a prosthetic using the GUND technology. On the day of the attack, she was in the cockpit of the Gundam Lfrith undergoing a Permet link connection test. As no abnormalities were detected in the GUND Format, she managed all the way to layer 32. She failed to call layer 33 and Dr. Cardo Nabo denied her requests to increase the GUND Format score as it was contrary to their test objective. She grew impatient but Cardo ended the test despite her claims that she was not yet in a dangerous range. Dr. Cardo told her to not get so worked up. Eri came floating towards her so she left the cockpit to catch Eri, and they chatted about the Lfrith—considered the child of all the staff members.

She and Eri returned home to celebrate Eri's fourth birthday. While her daughter went and got her birthday hat, her husband inferred she failed to call layer 33 again and blamed the higher-ups for being in a rush to roll out the Lfrith. She attempted to place a candle on her daughter's birthday cake but her GUND stopped working, so she changed the batteries in her right forearm prosthetic. She was grateful to the technology and her teacher for saving her life. The party was interrupted as Nadim had to take a call. While he was busy, she had been searching and had found Eri's fork. Eri, however, had since gone back to the laboratory to wake the Lfrith up, as she felt her parents care more about it than her, even on her birthday. When the alarm rang, Nadim met with her and told her that the council had crossed the line, urging her to find their daughter while he went out in the Lfrith (LF-01).

She found her daughter inside the Gundam Lfrith and closed the cockpit hatch. Upon booting up, it intercepted a message that the enemy had successfully neutralized the lives of Cardo Nabo and all key members. She was saddened by the death of her teacher. The Lfrith then had a successful callback from layer 33, much to her shock, it was Ericht Samaya's name on the monitor. After launching, Eri touched three targets on the monitor whilst her normal suit was connected to the port for Elnora's prosthetic arm. Three of the Heingras that Eri had locked onto were destroyed and Elnora watched on in horror whereas Eri compared the three explosions to candles.

Later, her Lfrith engaged Kenanji's Beguir-Beu. Her husband entered firing his Beam Vulcans before ramming his Gundam into the Beguir-Beu. Still holding onto the enemy unit, he urges to Elnora to escape and live on with Ericht, to which she declared her love for him and complied with his request to flee as the Ulysses fired beams at them.

Life on Mercury

While managing to escape, Elnora was branded a wanted fugitive by the Mobile Suit Development Council. Because of this, she fled to Mercury with Eri, as its remote and sparsely populated environment was perfect to hide out. There, she created new identities for herself and Eri, now going by Prospera and Suletta Mercury. Unfortunately, being outsiders, they were not treated well by the locals.

At some point, Prospera became CEO of the Shin Sei Development Corporation and worked with them to create the successor of the Lfrith, the Gundam Aerial, which was given to Suletta. Unfortunately, her work meant that she regularly had to travel between Mercury and Earth, rarely spending time with her daughter and even missing her 9th birthday. However, after Suletta saved a miner during a cave-in, Prospera contacted her daughter and told her that she was proud of her. She also apologized for missing her birthday but promised to attend her 10th birthday and make it double as fun to make up for it. It would end up being the last time she attended Suletta's birthday.

Over the years, Prospera became obsessed with avenging the Attack on Fรณlkvangr. Learning that the council president's daughter was attending the Asticassia School of Technology, she hatched a plot to transfer Suletta into the school in hopes that she would get close to her, using her daughter as a pawn for her revenge. Returning to Mercury and reuniting with Suletta, Prospera approached the Aerial and told the intelligent mobile suit about her plan. While Aerial was strongly opposed to her, she did not listen. The next day, Prospera told Suletta that she had arranged for her to attend Asticassia, much to her joy.

Suletta Mercury

She is a second-year student at the Asticassia School of Technology's piloting department, who transferred to the school from Mercury. She is the pilot of the Gundam Aerial developed on Mercury.

Personality and Character

Suletta is timid and somewhat lacks communication skills. She was once an innocent child, and so curious that her parents sometimes didn't know what to do with her. Despite her timidness, Suletta is shown to have strong principles, given her willingness to duel Guel Jeturk over his behavior towards Miorine Rembran, as well her unwillingness to flee during the duel. She also respects people who show courage in going forward rather than running away, even viewing the act of laughing at someone like that as unacceptable.

While Suletta is earnest and hard-working, she is not without weaknesses. Growing up in the isolated Mercury made her pretty much clueless about most subjects taught at school, even the most basics, which she had trouble catching up with the class. Her innocent and straightforward nature can be a weakness as well, as she failed to realize the political machinations happening behind the scene were what made her current school life so difficult and chaotic right now. She can also be fragile and prone to experience mental breakdown: giving up after failing her makeup exam so many times, falling into depression when she believed she wasn't good enough to fulfill the expectation of the people on Mercury, all while not knowing it was due to some other other students's malicious inteference.

History

On her fourth birthday, she went to the laboratory to get her mother. She came floating towards her mother who left the XGF-02 Gundam Lfrith's cockpit to catch her, and they chatted about the Lfrith—considered the child of all the staff members. Eri concluded she was the Lfrith's big sister. When asked her age by Nyla Bertran, Eri answered that she was four. She and her mother returned home for her party—Eri had helped to decorate. She then put on her birthday hat. Her mother attempted to place a candle on Eri's birthday cake but her GUND stopped working. The party was interrupted as her father had to take a call from Yamaoka, upsetting her.

While her father was busy, her mother had been searching and had found her fork. Eri, however, had since gone back to the laboratory to wake the Lfrith up, as she felt her parents care more about it than her, even on her birthday. Cardo Nabo, who was in the cockpit, overheard and apologised. Cardo explained the importance of the Lfrith in allowing humanity to live in space. Cardo brought her to the cockpit and registered her with the Lfrith by placing her hand on a panel. Ericht vocally inputted her personal data into the Lfrith.

When the alarm rang, her parents met up and her mother was urged to find her while her father went out in the Lfrith (LF-01). Inside the laboratory, flames began to engulf the Lfrith that she was still inside of. Fortunately, her mother found her and closed the cockpit hatch. The Lfrith then had a successful callback from layer 33, much to her mother's shock, it was Ericht Samaya's name on the monitor. After launching, she touched three targets on the monitor whilst her normal suit was connected to the port for her mother's prosthetic arm. Three of the Heingras that she had locked onto were destroyed and her mother watched on in horror whereas she compared the three explosions to candles.

Later, the Lfrith engaged Kenanji's Beguir-Beu. Her father entered firing Beam Vulcans. He rammed his Gundam into the Beguir-Beu. Holding it, he told her mother to escape and live on with her. Her mother complied with his request to flee as the Ulysses fired beams at them. When her father whited out he reminisced about her birthday party earlier. Still holding on, he sung Happy Birthday to Ericht until his last breath. The Beguir-Beu pushed away the motionless Lfrith Pre-Production Model and retreated. She finished the song alone as her father's Gundam exploded.

Life on Mercury

At unknown time after the attack on Fรณlkvangr, Elnora and Ericht (now under the names "Prospera and Suletta Mercury") arrived at the Mercury orbital base, Pebi Colombo 23. The pair were met with great reluctance by the local mining population, possibly due to the controversy of GUND-ARMs and the actions of Cathedra. With the help of unknown supporters, Elnora began development of the XVF-016 Gundam Aerial with the aid of unknown backers. (Possibly related to the Shin Sei Development Corporation)

But because there were no other children living at the base, and because Elnora's unknown work kept her traveling between planets, Suletta grew up alone with Aerial as the closest thing she had to a playmate and friend. Besides the basic mobile suit software, Aerial also contained a built-in entertainment system containing various television shows, digital books and video games. (The latter could simply be the suit's combat simulator, as only the "shooting" game is mentioned) Suletta became the simulator's second-highest ranked pilot, just under Elnora. (Whether Elnora herself ever piloted Aerial is unknown) As part of her responsibilities as a resident of Pebi Colombo 23, Suletta would often pilot Aerial on missions to rescue stranded miners. Over the years, these rescues earned the mother and daughter the respect of more and more local personnel.

Atlas

Atlas, also designated as Punk-05, is one of the six satellites of Dr. Vegapunk, embodying his aspect of "violence". Atlas is an extremely large girl, appearing to be as tall as Kaidou according to Luffy, with a young appearance. She has short curly hair, with the left side of it being dark colored and the right side being light; she has a very long curl of hair on each side of her head that runs down to her belly. She appears to have a long, bushy tail on her abdomen. She wears a short dark dress with her number on it as well as a downward-pointing arrow on the front.

She also wears dark boots, dark gloves with light sleeves attached, an earpiece enabling communication with the other satellites, and a large jetpack on her back. Being designated the “violence” satellite of Vegapunk, Atlas has a short temper and is prone to violence upon getting angry, which has been shown to occur if someone attacks her or if people show an inability to utilize her inventions successfully. She is very talkative and will gladly give detailed explanations on the inner workings of her inventions. She is quite interested in the question of the definition of reality, and though she has a firm view on the matter, she thinks other people need to decide the answer for themselves. She uses the first person pronoun ore, which is typically considered masculine or aggressive, befitting her violent behavior. Being a satellite of Vegapunk, Atlas has been a contributor to the genius scientist’s numerous technological developments. Befitting her large size, Atlas possesses significant strength, as she was able to punch Luffy and send him slamming into a wall with great force, leaving him with bruises. She also possesses great durability, being barely affected by a normal punch from Luffy. Her body made a metallic clanging sound when Luffy struck it, meaning she may wear armor or have cyborg modifications. As one of Vegapunk's satellites, Atlas has access to numerous futuristic equipment and weapons that she and the other satellites have developed. Her gloves, which are called Light-Pressure Gloves, allow her to interact with light as though it is tangible. This will cause the holograms on Egghead to react to her actions as though they were real, such as when she punched a dragon hologram and it recoiled. The jetpack on her back enables her to fly through the air. Atlas encountered Monkey D. Luffy, Tony Tony Chopper, Jinbe, and Jewelry Bonney as they were exploring a portion of Egghead's surface and interacting with the illusory holograms. Thinking she was a hologram, Luffy punched Atlas which caused her to attack back in return. The pirates then came across the Unmanned Cooking Device, and Atlas explained how it worked as well as showing the power of her Light-Pressure Gloves, before introducing herself to the group as Dr. Vegapunk. After the group has had their fill, Atlas left them, returning to her job as being violent, confusing the group.

Lilith

Lilith, also designated as Punk-02, is one of six satellites of Dr. Vegapunk, embodying his aspect of "evil". Lilith has the appearance of a young woman with wild light hair. She wears a light full-body jumpsuit that bears her designation of Punk-02 on the left breast; she also wears a dark coat, boots, gloves, and aviator helmet. Like the other satellites, she wears an earpiece and antenna on her left ear which enables communication with Vegapunk's other manifestations. Being designated the "evil" satellite of Vegapunk, Lilith is the manifestation of Vegapunk's ruthless and malevolent traits. She utilizes her technology and weaponry to steal from voyagers, chiefly pirates, who trespass on Egghead, justifying this to Shaka as necessary for the sake of keeping Vegapunk's research operational.

However, she possesses a rash attitude which can cause her to underestimate those she attacks, as she was stunned when Shaka, the manifestation of Vegapunk's logic, pointed out that the Straw Hats were equipped and poised to deal great harm to herself and her army of Sea Beasts; in response, Lilith seems capable of heeding Shaka's advice making her far from unreasonable. She uses the first person pronoun washi, which is usually associated with old men in fiction. She also uses stereotypical elderly speech patterns such as the copula ja. Being one of six manifestations of the genius scientist Vegapunk, Lilith has contributed to his numerous technological advances and breakthroughs. Despite the technology and weaponry at her disposal, Lilith was cautioned by Shaka that she was not equipped to take on Roronoa Zoro and Nico Robin, two members of an Emperor's crew with bounties around 1 billion beli, in combat. Lilith has made heavy use of mechas and cybernetically-enhanced animals to aid her in combat. She pilots a giant mecha called the Vega Force 1, which is extremely large to the point of being able to carry the Thousand Sunny in its hands. The Vega Force is able to move underwater and unleash explosions when it punches. Additionally, Lilith has power over Sea Beasts that she has turned into cyborgs. These Sea Beasts are equipped with numerous weapons, with an example being the Mecha-Shark having a torpedo launcher in its mouth. This army of cyborg creatures allows Lilith to easily surround and overwhelm ships sailing the sea, enabling her to loot them. However, she has had issues with achieving programming to completely override the organic urges of the creatures, which limits her ability to have them do exactly what she wants; Shaka himself would note that any equipment, weaponry and modified Sea Beasts at Lilith's disposal would be useless against a swordsman of Zoro's caliber. When the Straw Hat Pirates drew near to Egghead on the Thousand Sunny, the Mecha-Shark went to attack them. With the shark's primal urges overriding its programming and threatening to completely annihilate the crew's possessions, Lilith went underwater in the Vega Force and took it down before lifting the Sunny back above water. Lilith then exited the Vega Force and introduced herself as Dr. Vegapunk, to general confusion. Lilith informed the pirates that she did not rescue them, but rather spared them from the Mecha-Shark so she could rob them of their valuables. She summoned her army of weaponized Sea Beasts to surround the Straw Hats, ordering them to surrender to her their valued possessions at once, but then received a call from fellow satellite Shaka who informed her she had blundered in her antagonism of the pirates, pointing out that they were poised to target and overwhelm her if they retaliate much to Lilith's dismay, embarrassed that she overlooked something that could have easily led to her downfall. Roronoa Zoro told Lilith to play nice, and Shaka told his counterpart to bring the pirates to him as he has interest with the Straw Hats.

Michael Kaiser

Kaiser is a prodigy forward from Germany who arrives at Blue Lock in order to participate in the Neo Egoist League as a member of Bastard Mรผnchen. Kaiser is regarded as a genius and is recognized as a member of the New Generation World 11 and is the main striker and ace for Bastard Mรผnchen during the Neo Egoist League.

Abilities

Clinical Finisher: Clinical finishers are forwards that specialize in their accurate shooting ability. They are "clinical" in that they need few opportunities to score a goal being able to strike and place the ball exactly where it will beat the goalkeeper. They can be identified by their high goal to shots ratio. Clinical strikers usually play as centre forwards though other attacking players can often be said to be clinical finishers.

With an omnipotent vision, high football IQ, the fastest kick speed in the world and a powerful shot to match, Kaiser is the ace scorer for Bastard Mรผnchen. Kaiser is easily able to get into an ideal scoring position, receive any kind of pass, and create space for himself when pressured by the opposition to score effortless and illogical goals.

Skills

Professional Football Technique: Kaiser is regarded as a genius player in the professional world of football. He plays football for one of the best teams in the world as the main striker. His skills are highly respected by teammates, opposing teams, club owners, investors, and even the best striker in the world. His skill and technique is so high level that his team's style of play and philosophy revolve around him and his style of play.

Meta Vision: A term used to describe a player's evolved vision that gives them an omnipotent perspective of the field. Using his eyes to constantly take in information from his central and peripheral vision, Kaiser constantly collects data on every player, every play they make, and their positions on the field; mixed with his high football IQ, Kaiser is able to interpret that data and use it to heighten every move he makes to unpredictable levels and find opportunities before others can. This ability escapes the logic of even the most highly advanced football players. Mixed with his other abilities, Kaiser is able to dominate the field creating illogical opportunities born from his vision.

Off the Ball Movements: A term used to describe the moments where players are not in possession of the ball. Kaiser uses these moments to position himself where he can always receive a pass, whether in his opponents’ or teammates' blind spots. When marked by a defender, Kaiser always runs towards the course most troublesome to his opposition and then immediately steps in the opposite direction of their center of gravity to bypass them finding an open position for himself.

Kaiser Impact: Kaiser performs a high level volley that is so fast that it is hard to even see him kick the ball or see the ball go into the goal. Mixed with his Metavision, Kaiser is able to fearlessly score near impossible shots with extreme accuracy. His shot has the speed and power to pass by the heads of five defenders in front of the goal and the goalie with pinpoint accuracy into the goal.

Sae Itoshi

Sae is a prodigy football player who is regarded as the best player in Japan and is the older brother of Rin Itoshi. Sae is also a member of the New Generation World 11 and is a member of the Real Madrid Youth team, regarded as one of the best youth players in the world.

His main goal before the start of the series was to become the best striker in the world and in turn the best player in the world but after leaving Japan and experiencing the professional league in Spain he changed his dream to becoming the best midfielder in the world.

At the start of the series, he is in Japan only to renew his passport but after happening to hear about the Blue Lock he decides to stay. He later joins the Japan U-20 to face off against the Blue Lock Eleven in the Japan U-20 match. After the Japan U-20 match concluded his current status and whereabouts are unknown.

Abilities

Archetype

Playmaker: A player who controls the flow of the team's offensive play, and is often involved in passing moves which lead to goals, through their vision, technique, ball control, creativity, and passing ability.

Sae has been described as having a cold and calculating play style. He creates constant ideal plays for his team using his passing and dribbling, essentially controlling the offense and fills in any gaps the defense may have by going to the most critical point using his vision. With every play he makes, Sae aims to crush his opponent quickly and efficiently, destroying them "beautifully".

Skills

Professional Football Technique: Sae is regarded as a genius player in the professional world of football. He plays football in Europe and is considered to be on the level of a pro but has not gone fully pro only because of the age requirements in Spain, at the start of the series. He is regarded as the best player in Japan and can easily fill a stadium with his name alone, due to his immense reputation. Even high level players like Rin Itoshi and Ryusei Shidou are a league below him.

Perfect Kick Technique: Sae has the ability to control the intensity, angle, speed, and accuracy of his kicks to an extreme level at any given point in time. Not only is he able to consistently perform complex passes using his superior footwork and technique but added with his level of skill he is able to perfectly manipulate the ball to the point his passes are easy to receive but hard to intercept or block.
  • Long Driven Pass: A long pass, usually 40-50 meters long, that gives the ball enough height and power to avoid interception.
  • Lob Pass: Also known as a Chip, is a shot in which the ball is kicked from underneath with accuracy but with less than maximum force, to launch it high into the air in order to pass it over the heads of opponents.
  • Line Drive Shot: Sae is able to score with a powerful drive shot, taken from the byline and aimed at the other side of the goal. This is a shot that defies the expectations of anyone in the box anticipating a pass and can catch the goalkeeper off guard.
  • Trivela (Pass): A technique wherein which one puts spin on the ball using the outside of their foot. Sae is able to make a pinpoint pass using the outside of his left foot, in an instantaneous motion with his reflex. Sae is also able to use this pass with his weaker right foot, to still make a pinpoint pass.
  • Ultra-Fast Pass: From a set piece, Sae is able to make an incredibly fast pass that borders on being a shot. By using his reflex, he takes all conditions into account, in order to pass to a place that the opponent cannot reach, as if threading a needle.

Counter Dribbling: Sae's dribbling is "passive", in comparison with the more proactive dribbling of Bachira and Yukimiya. Rather than actively moving past defenders, Sae will observe the defender's rhythm and motions, before flowing past them in a counter. Sae's dribbling is the best shown so far, being able to effortlessly blow past the likes of Isagi and Bachira within one fluid movement. He is also shown to be able to overcome his brother Rin with relative ease, nutmegging him in each of their engagements. Rin noted that the tempo of each of his touches when he dribbles is incredibly fast, bolstered by his experience in Europe. Sae will often prioritize passing to progress the ball up the field, but when he wishes to play seriously, he changes his style to breaking through by himself with his dribbling, drastically increasing his options. When Sae gets serious, his dribbling is good enough to overcome the Blue Lock Eleven's entire formation without any assistance.

  • Hyperspeed Scissors: Sae performs a scissor feint at incredible speed, making it hard to follow.
  • Double Touch: Sae knocks the ball from one foot to the other, before using the second foot to knock the ball past his opponent and break past. He performed this move at an incredibly fast tempo, leaving Rin little time to react.
  • Marseille Turn: Sae stops the ball with the outside of his foot, shielding the ball from his opponent, before performing a roulette to turn past them.
  • Nutmeg: Sae dribbles the ball through the legs of a defender effectively getting past their defense with little effort.
  • Cross Elastico Nutmeg: Sae performs an elastico, but by crossing the ball behind his dominant leg, before knocking it between his opponent's legs using his non-dominant foot. He first performed this move on his brother Rin when he returned from Spain, but has also performed this move on Rin during the Japan National Representative Match.
  • Elastico Nutmeg: Sae performs a regular elastico to nutmeg a defender and go past them. He did this to Isagi when breaking through the midfield, during the Japan National Representative Match.
  • Rabona Nutmeg: A technique where a player kicks the ball, with their kicking leg crossed behind their standing leg. Sae can use this technique to play the ball between an opponent's legs, before passing them, as he demonstrated against Yukimiya.
  • Shoulder Block: By using his shoulder to block off his opponent, Sae reverses his centre of gravity to avoid their tackle.

Reflex: With his incredible reflexes, Sae is able to take into account all the conditions of the field and make decisive plays to get the ball down the field and in the hands of the forwards in the best way possible. Sae will determine who has the most "heat" towards the goal and play the ball to them, meaning he has no bias towards particular strikers. This incredible reflex makes Sae hard to read and stop, as he makes split-second judgements to constantly move the ball and change positions. It is this reflex which enables Sae to operate on the same wavelength as Shidou and exploit his abilities to their full potential.

Metavision: With his pristine and trained vision, Sae is able to constantly collect data on every player, every play they make, and their positions on the field and after analyzing that data is able to react to their movements instantly and without even being noticed arriving at the most critical point of their plays effectively shutting their attack down or bypassing their defense with ease.

Oliver Aiku

He was formerly the captain and a centerback of the Japan U-20 team; he currently plays as a regular on Ubers during the Neo Egoist League.

Abilities

Archetype

  • Libero: The libero (Italian for "free") or sweeper is a more versatile type of defender that sweeps up the ball if the opponent manages to break the defensive line. Their position is rather more fluid than other defenders who mark their designated opponents. Sweepers are usually faster than that of the other players on the team, and are built slightly smaller than the others. The sweeper's ability to read the game is even more vital than for a centre-back; they also are usually confident on the ball and possess good passing and vision, as they are often responsible for starting plays from the back-line.

The key to the Japan U-20's defense is Aiku being more versatile than the other defenders and being able to sweep up the ball or shut down the opposing offense altogether with his iron clad defense.

Skills

Professional Football Technique: Aiku is considered to be one of Japan's brightest talents, being the captain of the U-20, as well as already having an offer to play for an unspecified Italian professional club, in the Serie A. A testament to his professional technique is the fact that he went from being a respected centre-forward, to a talented defender almost seamlessly. The entire U-20 team is built with him at its centre, being referred to as the 'Diamond Generation'.

Spatial Awareness: Aiku has an incredibly large field of view, being able to take into account the conditions of every player in front of him. Isagi noted that Aiku was not marking him specifically, yet was able to intercept a pass to him, because he was able to adjudge Isagi's speed, as well as the source of the pass and the positions of every player. This wide field of view enables him to detect any threats to the U-20 goal and react instantly predicting any movements or surprise plays.

Dominant Physicality: Aiku also has an incredible physique which enables him to perform high level plays without issue. His strength was first demonstrated when he physically subdued Ryusei, a notoriously powerful player, without any issue. His strength is also demonstrated in his jumping ability, being able to reach great heights to intercept the ball. In addition to this, Aiku moves across the pitch with incredible speed, being able to sweep up any loose balls and cover defensive holes left by his team, as well as retreat to the center when needed.

Reflex: On top of his high spatial awareness, Aiku also has the reflex to immediately determine where the greatest threat to the goal is and the physical ability to go there without hesitation. It is the combination of this reflex and spatial awareness that makes Aiku such an effective defender, as he not only sees all positions of every player at once, but he also moves immediately (often ahead of the strikers) to intercept the ball.

  • Total Defense: By combining all three of these weapons, Aiku is able to predict, react to and intercept any ball played into the defensive third, acting as a critical safeguard in the U-20's defensive line up. It is this ability which makes Aiku the cornerstone of the U-20's 'Diamond Generation'.

Flow State: Flow, as described by Ego, is the state of "total immersion" or "being in the zone". It is the mental state in which a person performing some activity is fully immersed in a feeling of energized focus, full involvement, and enjoyment in the process of the activity.

Aiku managed to enter the Flow state during the match against Blue Lock, in response to Baro and Yukimiya's attack. Whereas normally he reacts to plays as he sees them happening, whilst in flow he can see and even feel the critical points in his team's defense, enabling him to move ahead of the game and cover those weak areas. This state also improves Aiku's one-on-one defending, being able to completely shutdown a player's offense by reading their every possibility and shutting down all their options like he did to Rin but when faced with skill that is above his understanding his defense falls flat without help.

Ryusei Shido

Shido unlike most forwards has no concrete dream of becoming the world's best striker but rather seeks to enjoy life to the fullest by playing football.

Out of the original 300 forwards chosen to be apart of the Blue Lock Project, Ryusei is an ideal candidate for the type of striker Ego strives to create and after the Japan U-20 match, Shido is ranked as one of the top players in Blue Lock. Shido currently plays as a regular on PXG during the Neo Egoist League.

Goal Poacher: Goal poachers are forwards who wait in the six-yard box or the penalty area for a cross, pass or loose ball and pounce to try to score a goal. The "poaching" refers to the fact that they will often score a goal out of the slightest of opportunities i.e. steal a goal. Goal poachers usually play as centre forwards or second strikers.

Shido has an uncanny ability to be able to find and poach almost any kind of goal from anywhere in the penalty area even from a seemingly impossible zone or dead position. Shido also takes a lot of his shots in midair and can even do so without looking, a testament to his skill as a poacher. He is an expert at producing monstrous goals from inadequate positions and it is his signature style of play.

Skills

Superior Football Technique: Shido is one of two players in Blue Lock who have top tier stats, along with Rin Itoshi. During the Third Selection, he scored an average 2 goals a game, the highest of any player besides Rin. His physical dominance, ball control, power, and kick accuracy are only rivalled by a handful of players. Though Rin can be described similarly, what separates the two is Shido's confidence in scoring goals alone, even causing a physical altercation if his experience of the game is hampered in any way, whilst Rin combines with his environment to score. Shido's skill and ego are so advanced that he was recognized by Sae, a genius of the professional world, and asked to join him on the Japan U-20 team. With Sae's guidance, Shido is able to evolve his level of play to new heights, scoring outrageous goals and forming a deadly duo that the Blue Lock Eleven struggled to deal with.

Extreme Spatial Awareness: Shido's main ability is his extreme spatial perception. As opposed to other types of spatial awareness, that take into account player's positions and weapons, Shido's spatial awareness is geared towards the goal at all times. This is the key to his perfect scoring ability within the penalty area, since Shido is able to "see" the goal whenever he is in the penalty area, even without physically facing it. In addition to this, when he is in flow, Shido is able to perceive he location of the goal even outside the range of the penalty area.

Dominant Physicality: Shido is physically the strongest and most dominant player in Blue Lock. His physical strength alone is enough to nearly crush Gurimu Igarashi's skull and kick back Rensuke Kunigami, another physically dominant player. Shido is able to circumvent his opponent's defense, constantly leveraging his superior physical ability over them by breaking past them in an off the ball fight with his movements, using his body and theirs to create momentum to break past them, or by jumping over them altogether.

  • Aggressive Dribble: Shido uses his physical strength to move across the field erratically, either with the ball at his feet or without it. These movements can confuse even his teammates, along with his opponents.

Reflex: Shido is able to reflexively take into account his position and his opponent's, to leverage his weapons for an ideal shot. His reflexes and speed grant him the ability to get to any point on the field faster than others could and his natural ability to use all of his body parts optimally allows for him to perform incredible physical feats that are uncommon even to those at Blue Lock. He has shown this multiple times, but most notably when he scored a goal in the Japan U-20 match, instantly reacting to Sae's high-speed pass. It is Shido's unrivaled instincts that make him such a potent scorer in and around the penalty area, establishing him as one of the most dangerous strikers in Blue Lock.

Drive Shot: An accurate and powerful shot that is usually used from range, serving as Shido's main method of scoring. Shido is able to perform a drive shot from a multitude of positions, whether it is unfavourable or not. Shido is able to avoid having to reset his positioning by using his superior physique and immense reflex to make the Drive Shot.

  • Bicycle Kick: An acrobatic strike where a player kicks an airborne ball rearward in mid-air. Bicycle kicks can be used defensively to clear away the ball from the goalmouth or offensively to strike at the opponent's goal in an attempt to score. Shido firsts performs this move in his debut match against Kunigami and Reo and scores an effortless goal on Kunigami, breaking down his defense completely.
  • No-Look Goal: A skill that few strikers in the world can pull off; Shido jumps for the ball while turned away from goal and instinctively takes a shot without looking. This shot is incredibly fast and unpredictable, making it hard to react to.
  • High-Spin Drive Shot: When receiving the ball with his back to goal, Shido backs into an opponent and uses his physical strength to hold them in place, using their body weight to rotate on the spot and rising into an incredibly quick shooting motion.
  • Dragon Drive: A shot made possible when combining his extreme reflexes with Sae's. While running at top speed, Shido leaps around an opposing defender and executes a jumping volley while using his signature kick, the Drive Shot. This shot was powerful and fast enough to score from outside the penalty area with little reaction from the other players on the field.

Flow State: Flow, as described by Ego, is the state of "total immersion" or "being in the zone". It is the mental state in which a person performing some activity is fully immersed in a feeling of energized focus, full involvement, and enjoyment in the process of the activity.

Ryusei entered Flow in the middle of the Japan U-20 match, being inspired by the passes he received from Sae and being pressured by the Blue Lock Eleven defense. This lead to him pushing his physical and perceptive abilities to their extremes and scoring a super goal.

  • Big Bang Drive: When he enters 'FLOW', Shido is able to push his spatial awareness past its limit, 'feeling' the location of the goal and performing a long range bicycle kick, which lands directly in the goal. He used this to score directly from a clearance without having to reset his positioning in the U-20 match.
