Kenichiro Ryuuzaki, affectionately known as Kencho, takes a prominent role in Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead. A former real estate salesman and a close companion of Akira Tendou, Kencho possesses a tall, athletic frame. He sports blond-dyed hair, originally black, with shaven sides, leaving two lengthy, uncolored strands framing his face. His vibrant, olive-brown eyes are accentuated by thick eyebrows and sharp lower lashes, giving him a lively, amiable countenance. His ensemble features an open, sky-blue dress shirt that showcases his well-defined physique, along with bold hot pink pants and brown dress shoes.
In one of Akira's flashbacks, Kencho is portrayed as a vivacious, outgoing individual with adept conversational skills, which Akira admired due to Kencho's apparent success in his real estate career after college. During their shared moments, Kencho brags about his interactions with politicians and his relationship with a model, projecting an air of arrogance and self-assuredness. However, beneath this facade, Kencho harbors disdain for his profession. He grapples with the need to deceive clients with a smile while securing unfavorable contracts, compounded by the constant praise he receives from superiors. He confesses that his previous boasting was a shield to mask his own inner emptiness.
Upon confessing his true feelings and engaging in a heartfelt conversation with Akira, Kencho rediscovers his innate exuberance. He joins Akira on his quest to embrace life to the fullest. In a comical manifestation of pursuing his dreams, he unabashedly strips down and attempts a daring leap towards the adjacent building where Akira waits, demonstrating a newfound disregard for modesty. Ultimately saved from a potential fall by his friend, Kencho lightheartedly bemoans a minor scrape to a rather sensitive area.
